What is Salvation?

A simple definition of salvation is to be rescued by God from the repercussions of our sins. Salvation delivers us from spending eternity in Hell and ensures our place in heaven to spend eternity with Jesus.

Acknowledging that we are all sinners is the first step towards salvation.

ROMANS 3:10-12 (NIV)
10 As it is written:“There is no one righteous, not even one;

11     there is no one who understands;
    there is no one who seeks God.
12 All have turned away,
    they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
    not even one.”

As sinners, we are all in need of forgiveness.

TITUS 3:3-7 (NIV)

At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

Our forgiveness is only made possible through Jesus and is a free gift from Him.

EPHESIANS 3:8-9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works so that no one can boast.

This free gift is available to all who believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose again. He set us free from our sinful ways and gives us eternal life.

ROMANS 10:9-10

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

WHAT IS THE SALVATION SINNERS PRAYER?

It is simply declaring your need for Jesus in your life. You accept you need guidance, wisdom to be all that God created you to be.

Salvation occurs when we listen to the salvation message, believing its truth and deciding to receive Jesus into our heart.

There is no better day than today to accept Jesus into your life. No matter what you have done or think you have done in your life, you are sinless in the eyes of our Lord and He loves you unconditionally.

There is no official salvation prayer. You can simply say your own heartfelt words acknowledging Jesus death and resurrection.

Below are two examples of Salvation Sinners Prayers.

Example #1 is a very simple prayer.
Example #2 is a more in-depth 3 parts prayer giving a greater understanding of Salvation and becoming a Christian.

The 3 parts of this prayer:

1)  Repentance
2)  Trust in Jesus

3)  Ask God to come into your life

#1 SIMPLE SALVATION SINNERS PRAYER:

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin. Please forgive me. Come into my life. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Please help me to live for you the rest of my life.

In the name of Jesus, I pray.

Amen.

If you just prayed that prayer, Welcome to Gods family!!  Hallelujah!!  The angels in heaven are rejoicing!!

WHAT DO I DO NOW?

1) Tell someone you made a commitment to Him today. (Feel free to tell us via Facebook Messenger or info@majesticavocado.com. We would love to personally welcome you as a Child of God and pray for you)

2) Invest time with Him each day. Jesus is your lifelong friend, your soul mate. Talk to Him like you would any other friend. Ask Him to enhance your belief and your understanding of the Scriptures.

3) Connect with a bible based church. Have fellowship with other like-minded Jesus fans.

4) Be baptized. Jesus was baptized and He commands us to do the same.

LUKE 3:21-22 (NIV)

21 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptised too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened 22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

MATTHEW 28:18-20 (NIV)

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
